With the dawn of the industrial revolution humans became something more than just creatures that happen to live on a tumbling rock circulating a ball of flame in space. This is the point in time where humans became an actual geological force capable of reforming the surface of the planet. Thus the works centre themselves in the Anthropocene era, Högström tries to come to terms with the world we live in and how we change it by simply being alive. |
